The evil wizard Slimytove and his sidekick Bad Joke are out to steal everybody's Christmas. Only Fairy Tulip, Mildew, PC Mould and all their friends can stop them. Will Christmas be saved? Or will Slimytove have his wicked way? You'll have to come along and find out for yourself... A real Christmas treat for all the family.

Jo German

Jo German was a member of Bench Theatre since 1980; her first acting role was as Bianca in Taming of The Shrew in May 1981. She was involved in many productions since then (both on and back stage) but this is the first play of hers which has been performed by the company. She is not currently a member.

David Urquhart

David Urquhart was a member of Bench Theatre since 1981; his first acting role was as Capt Solyony in Anton Chekhov's 'Three Sisters' in December of that year. He has been involved in many productions since then (both on and back stage), most notably his highly acclaimed portrayal of Horst in Martin Sherman's 'Bent', but this is the first play of his which was performed by the company. Urquhart left Bench Theatre in 1983 to pursue a course of studies at The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London and although he returned after the completion of his course, he is not currently a member.
