The A.P. are a fine body of people who undertake to get everyone in the company thinking about plays, to encourage and support directors and to organise our regular meetings or 'club nights'. They very welcoming, and are often found in a bar somewhere. If you have any secret thoughts about getting more involved, they are probably the best place to start.

The easiest (and most entertaining) way to support the Bench is to come and see our productions. More information about our forthcoming performances is on our home page. If you already come along, please help us further by spreading the word and bringing your friends.
Meeting Bench members is easy, just hang around in the bar after any show and the cast will turn up soon enough! After a performance the cast are usually very willing to discuss the play with anyone who will listen. Alternatively speak to anyone wearing a 'Front of House' badge before or after a performance or during the interval. Or come along to our Club Nights which are held on the first and third Thursday of every month - apart from August when we break for the summer, and during productions.
If you would like to join, we are always keen to welcome new members, both active on and off the stage and supporters. There are two types of Membership :
Full membership is necessary to perform on stage or assist backstage. Full members are also able to propose plays for production and vote at play selection meetings. (The play selection process is open and democratic.)
Back Bench membership is offered to those who wish to join and support the Bench but not be actively involved in productions.
Both classes of membership offer :
Full membership costs £30.00; BackBench membership costs £20 (annually). (Concessions for students, OAPs and unemployed.)
