This is a very 'grown up' season, starting with the excitement and variety of the Supernova project, a spectacular event showcasing more than 10 new plays. From the humour of the Sunshine Boys through the gritty realism of Saved and bittersweet comedy of Be My Baby we arrive at The Weir, very different in style but deeply moving and touching.
Much of the drama is challenging and provoking but there is still laughter to be found and the result should be a season to stir the most apathetic theatre-goer.
